The Second Chance Brides - Available for preorder!!!

Married By Mistake - by Laura V. Hilton

1902

Thomas Hale has retired to his family’s home on Mackinac Island for solitude while he works through the rejection of a publicly failed romance that has ruined his good name. When he is asked to pose as a happy bridegroom for an advertisement for his good friend’s resort, Thomas is reluctant to even pretend he might have a second chance at love.

Bessie O’Hara’s cousins have proposed a vacation to Mackinac Island to meet suitable husbands, but the ongoing social interaction doesn’t appeal to her at all. She’d much rather spend time alone with a good book, her piano, or even a walk along the beach instead of dancing the night away and batting her eyes at prospective beaux. When Bessie is recruited to pose as a “bride” for an advertisement, she agrees only to get out of a social event she doesn’t care to attend.

But things don’t go according to plan. When the unthinkable happens, Bessie and Thomas must decide whether to continue the charade or walk away since either choice could ruin them if the news got out.

The Amish Wanderer - available now

The Amish Wanderer

Bethany Weiss has been fascinated by Silas Beiler since he spent a couple of years in Jamesport, Missouri, before he and his family moved to another Amish community. They hadn’t kept in touch, but she hasn’t forgotten the friendly young man who brought her lemonade and took her home once from a Singing years ago. When she finds a man sleeping in her family’s barn, like Jesus sleeping in the hay, she is stunned to recognize Silas. He’s left the Amish and is backpacking across the country. She talks him into staying, at least until after Christmas.

Silas’ family has never been happy living in one area for long, and their vagabond ways are wearing on him. He’s lived in Amish communities all over the nation, moving whenever his daed became disgruntled with the leaders, and he’s looking for some sense of stability. His intentions are to make it back to Pennsylvania and stay with his Englisch onkle and his family—and pursue an education. Will Bethany be the one to bring Silas in from the cold? Or will he continue on his way to his extended family and become Englisch?
